LMD clients recognized with a total of 13 trophies for creative

Laurel, MD — LMD is proud to join our U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM), United States Coast Guard (USCG), and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) client teams, along with our strategic partners MarCom Group, PBG Consulting, Kean Smith, CineSalon, and LMO, in celebrating multiple Hermes Creative Awards.

The Hermes Creative Awards are an international competition for creative professionals, and one of the world’s oldest and largest creative competitions. The awards recognize creatives and communicators who bring their ideas to life through publications, videos, websites, branding collateral, and advertising, marketing, and communications programs.

OPM received a platinum Hermes award for a video teasing the launch of OPM’s new brand to internal staff, federal stakeholders, and the public. LMD collaborated with OPM on the video to communicate the agency’s “new vision of work” for the future by focusing the video on federal workers’ impact on our nation and world.

In addition, USCG received platinum awards for the logo reveal video, their “What Makes a Life?” recruitment video, and their eye-catching exhibit booth, “The Wave”—all elements of USCG’s new recruiting brand and identity campaign, which positions the Coast Guard as a modern military branch while staying true to its core values and mission. LMD is the agency of record for the Coast Guard Recruiting Command, and worked alongside strategic partners MarCom Group and Kean Smith to develop these award-winning creative materials. 

EERE earned a gold award for the “12 Days of Energy Savings” animated social media campaign. LMD worked with EERE to create and execute the campaign, which consisted of animated graphics with tips on increasing home energy efficiency during the winter.
