Laurel, MD — LMD, a full-service communications firm, was awarded a Task Order for up to $22 million to provide strategic communications, legislative analysis, public and media relations, editorial, graphic design, and digital services to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). This work will support CISA's Office of External Affairs’ communications efforts to further the agency's mission.
CISA’s mission is to enhance the security, resiliency, and reliability of our nation’s cybersecurity and communications infrastructure through work with partners across the private and public sectors. CISA builds the national capacity to defend against cyber-attacks and works with the federal government to provide cybersecurity tools, incident response services, and assessment capabilities to protect the networks that support the essential operations of partner departments and agencies. Their critical operations help emergency response providers and government officials continue to communicate in the event of a natural or man-made disaster.
“At LMD we understand the importance of cybersecurity and are proud to support CISA's mission to protect our communication infrastructure,” said LMD President Karen Killian.
