Building More than a Website–An Information Hub

TEDCO needed a new website to match the size and scale of its rapidly growing organization. LMD worked with the organization to build a website on the Drupal platform that brought all of the TEDCO assets under one URL–creating a comprehensive, branded hub where users could easily find information about TEDCO, the Maryland Stem Cell Research Fund website, the Maryland Entrepreneur Resource List (MERL) subdomain, and the other venture partners TEDCO supports. Additionally, LMD designed the site’s interface and architected and wrote its content to reflect TEDCO’s mission and brand as Maryland’s technology and innovation leader.

LMD also automated the site’s workflows, including its newsletter, social media, and dynamic content, which significantly improved the user experience and increased engagement between TEDCO and the start-ups it serves. The result was better functionality with less day-to-day effort for TEDCO’s marketing team.

LMD continues to work with TEDCO on design and content to keep the website current and also supports TEDCO leadership with a variety of strategic consulting projects.
